Stu was more than a friend, he was a big brother and mentor to me and very importantly, he took me to my first Bruce Lee movie. He was my first paying customer, he yelled at me to stop wailing on the sax at 11pm and he never told me what happened to that cat! He had a spirit that was indomitable and opinions that were irrepressible and the deepest love for those he loved and an almighty disdain for those he disdained. But most of all, there was never any disputing his love for his family, Jen, Phil and your mom and of course Augie and Clover. Stu will be missed, but never forgotten. Love to you all.

Stuart was a good friend for over 40 years as we worked together in the real estate finance field. He was a kind and loyal man who consistently helped me and it was a privilege to work with him and learn from him. I will miss him.

Stuart was one of the “good guys”, I’m sorry to hear of his passing. We had some great times together at GMACCM/Berkadia. I think he coined the term, Mortgage Marines, that he was with a huge heart. He will be missed, God Bless Stuart and his family.

I am very sorry to hear about Stuart‘s passing. Stuart and I worked on many successful transactions over his illustrious career. But more than just being an honest and successful mortgage banker, I will remember Stuart as a mentor and a true friend. I will miss his silly jokes and infectious laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear about Stuart‘s passing. I had the privilege of working with Stuart and being a friend and colleague during our years at GMACCM and Berkadia. He was a great mentor and teacher and our conversations were always colorful and meaningful. His sometimes gruff exterior belied a heart of gold and a deep sensitivity. He will be missed.
